Your specific installation steps may vary with platform and version.
By default the program will install the program in the Program Files directory. Write down the directory path in the space below. This is detailed as the “Destination Folder” in the window that contains the “Install Button”
At the completion of the installation, you can either create a MySQL.com account or skip the sign-up.
At the completion of the installation, you will be asked to configure your MySQL Server. Allow the program to install and run this Instance Setup Utility
Click the Detailed Configuration Button followed by Next
Click the Developer Machine Button followed by Next
Click Non-Transactional Database followed by Next
All of these options will support GoMiner. This particular option is the minimal configuration.
Click the Decision Support Button followed by Next
Enable TCP/IP Networking followed by Next
Click the Standard Character Set Button followed by Next
Check Install as Window Service and Include Bin Directory followed by Next
Create a root password followed by Next
Remember the password that you assign to root.
Temporarily disable all firewall settings on the computer or this setup will not work
